First Year Experience

During the first year of working for GCAS a new auditor will attend an orientation and boot-camp training session which usually consists of one week of intense exposure to the basic policies, expectations and audit approach used by GCAS.

After the training session, a curriculum of homework will be assigned for the new auditor to study so that they may become familiar with the accounting and auditing approach of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The new auditor will then begin a series of three onsite training audits where they will be exposed to practical hands-on training related to each important audit section.

The first year will also require the new auditor to make preparations and begin sitting for their professional certification examination, if not already passed at the time of hire.

The first year will be an exciting and intense learning experience which will lead to a very rewarding career with GCAS.
